You Have a Product or Service We Want.

But you know how aloof Generation X can be. We don’t care what anyone thinks.

We’ve been forgotten, hosed, and we’re busy.

We have money, but we think before we spend it.

We want results, not BS. Give it to us straight.

Be ethical. We are wary, and a bit suspicious. Cue our motto: WHATEVER

Forgive our ambiguity and questions such as:

Does it work? How much does it cost? Can I get my money back if it doesn’t? Do you have a discount or coupon?

To get our attention, you have to know our generation.

You need the services of the GenXQueen.

SEO-enriched blogs that tell a story engaging your customers, all while providing fresh content for your website, pushing you to the top of Google search.

Sorry, Hal 9000, AI will not replace us...

Emails that actually get opened and headlines that tease and intrigue…

How many emails do you have sitting dormant in your inbox right now?

Why did you lose interest?

What made you open one?

And it was about the SAME product—the answer:

Emotional Techniques—the secret behind effective copywriting.

It’s about CONNECTION.

Speak our language. We don’t want Fireball. Why are you sending us ads for Fireball?

We want GLEN 12-year neat with a drop of water. We can afford it. It’s perfect for sipping while we Netflix before we go to bed by 9.

You need a copywriter.

Why?

You don’t have the time, energy, or desire to sit at your computer at the end of another 10-hour day and hack out something funny and creative.

Shoot, you can’t even muster more than HBD on Facebook.

Writing copy and content is an art and a science—the art of storytelling and the science of psychology.

Forget using AI, Jasper, or any of the other plug-and-plays. AI nets you a smackdown of Wrestlemania proportions on Google hence, why you need a person.

You want your business to grow.

Ok, cool. You’re doing socials. You’re on the TikTok. It’s like The Machine in the Pit of Despair, sucking your life force out of your body as you create new content.

Sure, the GenZ crowd is hip and cool (of course, we made them), but broke AF.

Millennials are promising but not much better. The Boomers are headed to assisted living.

So, who has the money to spend?

Bueller, Bueller…

Generation X. Remember us? 1965-1979.

But I don’t want to be THAT SPECIFIC, you say.

I get you. The Queen can write for ANY group or topic!

But ignoring us costs you money. There are 65.2 million of us in the United States. We are homeowners, moving toward empty nesters, solid in our careers, with discretionary income.

Intentional generational marketing allows you to reach the audience that will impact your sales the most.

Trust me: We enjoy the TikTok but don’t care about influencers, trends, or trying to have the most views on IG.

Meh, whatever.

Sure, Millennials and Gen-Z are big, bold, and noisy.

And hit up their Gen-X parents for cash.

Why not go straight to the source?

Do yourself a favor.

Who is the QUEEN?

Welcome to my about page! I'm as excited as much as a Gen-Xer can muster to provide content and copywriting services for your business and organization.

I grew up in Chicago's suburbs until my parents divorced in the mid-70s, and I moved to Colorado with my mom. I was a rowdy child, riding bikes on dirt hills, climbing trees, and downhill skiing. In my 20's, I started modeling and doing pageants for fun, working as a cocktail waitress through college and, sadly, after college. My son, Max, came to the scene after the Twin Towers fell. He was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and as a single mom, I pivoted my life to focus on his outcomes. I became a nurse, and now my son is attending college, majoring in Jazz Studies and Education.

I worked as a hospice nurse through COVID, and I burned out. I decided to pivot once again. I returned to school to learn esthetics and took copywriting classes. I am a content writer for a production company and own/operate GenXQueen. At 50, I returned to modeling and pageantry for fun and fell back in love with the beauty industry. I never dreamed I'd walk in New York Fashion Week! The sector is MUCH more diverse now.

Honestly, I thought my dreams of being a writer would never come. My parents discouraged me from writing--probably thought I'd marry a drummer and end up a Beat Poet. I've been writing my entire life. I was first published at 14, penned a handful of books, worked as a freelance journalist, and had my works printed on several platforms. I am very proud of my accomplishments.

No drummer! Instead, I married a chemist, living in the Denver suburbs with three boys--one FT, one PT, and one Seasonal (mine, the college kid) and our cats. We love traveling, skiing, going to Target, and poking around in the garden. Neither of us knows what we're doing, but we try.

As a Gen-Xer, I've had to pivot my whole life. We are the generation of collective trauma from watching the Challenger blow up to AIDS, the Cold War, the Great Recession, 9/11, and COVID...good grief!

As a result, I became resilient. Rub some dirt on it, and get back to the grind.

But after working as a hospice nurse during COVID, I changed. I stopped rubbing dirt. After all the years of death and despair, it hit me.

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." – Ferris Bueller.

I changed my thoughts. I changed my life.

It's never too late.

It is an honor and privilege to help you achieve your dreams.

So, what can I write for you today?
